Our stylists carry many years of collective cosmetology experience, and keep training through the year so the technique keeps pace with what you are asking for.

Our story

A rejuvenation centre, not a chair rental.

Starglow was founded in 2008 in Hillsborough, concentrating on the beautification of skin and hair with exotic herbs of ancient India and plant-based colour from world-class distributors such as Coiffance and Matrix.

Demand for those products and services is what opened the other rooms — a second in Hillsborough, then Skillman, then Bridgewater. Four salons now, one standard between them.

The technique

The art of transformation.

Transformation is a consultation before it is a chemical. What the hair or the skin can take, what you want it to do, and which of these it actually calls for.

    Magic Sleek

    A customisable straightening treatment, 100% formaldehyde-free. Takes hair anywhere from simple de-frizzing to straight, restoring protein to heal damage rather than coating over it. Ask about the aftercare — it is what makes the result last.

  2. ii

    Repêchage Four Layer

    Layer upon layer of fresh European seaweed — filtrate, a three-movement massage, the seaweed mask, then a mineral mask that warms itself to activate the layer beneath. The afterglow is the point.

  3. iii

    Herbal gold & diamond

    Shahnaz Husain formulas built on ancient herbal preparations — 24-carat gold for rejuvenation and radiance, diamond for exfoliation and refinement. Finished with fresh fruit galvanising.
